'Eureka' (3.08) “From Fear to Eternity” – Review

In our last episode before the mid-season break, it has been a week since Zoe fell in the underground facility. To put it in the most simple of terms, Zoe is getting sick and it has to do with the goo she slipped in. Thorne is determined to close up her past, and what did I tell ya? She’s not what she seems! Carter, Henry, Allison, Jo, and Zane work feverishly to get to the bottom of Thorne’s mystery so they can save Zoe, and when Thorne finds out that Zoe’s life hangs in the balance, she crumbles and admits all to Carter, as they are stuck in the facility.

'Eureka' (3.07) “Here Come the Suns” – Reviews

We are back to the mishap of the week with the town going through a mayoral election that goes into overdrive with Vincent, Lucas, and some cloud scientist named Dr. Herrera. Zoe is working like a woman possessed so her BF will win, but Lucas doesn’t seem all that into it. Zoe’s lab partner, on the other hand, is peeved that Zoe isn’t paying attention to the project they have due ASAP. Zoe tells Kylie to take the lead in the project, which gives Kylie a case of the giddies and she runs with it.

'Eureka' (3.06) “Phased and Confused” – Review

Jack has forbidden Zoe from going to a yoga retreat that his sister, Lexi, recommended as she will miss school. Zoe goes off to school in a filthy mood, while Jack has to tend to a series of mishaps around town, when this superhero in tights shows up using GD prototypes to sort-of save the day. Poor Jack. Lexi is now a witness to many of these events and thinks it’s great. Jack thinks the “superhero” is a dumb klutz, but Lexi thinks it’s sweet.

'Eureka' (3.05) “Show Me the Mummy” – Review

Stark may be dead to the world, but that doesn’t mean the beat doesn’t go on. A Mummy has come to GD and with it, a curse. Okay, maybe not really, but bad times abound. Jack has to investigate the death of a scientist involved with the opening of the Mummy’s tomb and the disappearance of the Mummy. Now he and Allison are on the lookout for the archaeologist’s cameraperson, who is missing and presumed involved.

    Eureka (3.04) “I Do Over” – Review

Carter is having his morning shower, and can we have a butt shot, a la NYPD Blue? But no. So, water cold, Carter peeved. You thought I would say hot didn’t ya? Yeah, I’m walking down a different garden path today. So, instead Carter tries to shave and manages to cut himself. I hear bad luck comes in threes. Let’s try breakfast. Eggs are on the menu, and so is ketchup, which he splats all over his last clean shirt. Poor Carter. Zoe tries to cheer him up with some sharing, but is interrupted by the door. It’s Carter’s sister, Lexi, three days early, much to Carter’s chagrin.

Eureka (3.03) “Best In Faux” – Review

Eureka being Eureka, nothing is ever sane, and such is the case with the annual Eureka Dog Show coming up. But this is no ordinary dog show; it is all about the robotic dogs that the bored scientists spend all their time tweaking so as to win the prestigious title of “Best in Show”. The competition is fierce and cheating is a given, so when one of the ‘dogs’ literally loses their head when two of the scientists have a spat, Carter is called in to investigate.

Eureka (3.02) “What About Bob?” – Review

Allison is still engaged to Nathan and Carter is still unhappy about it, but his more pressing concern is Henry, who is about to be transferred to a Supermax in Colorado. Allison is more worried about the seventy-five employees who were terminated that morning by the over-zealous Ms. Thorne. These concerns are soon washed away by a missing person alert in Lab 27.

Eureka (3.01) “Bad to the Drone” – Review

So, Eureka’s the town where the wackiness never seems to end, but the DOD seems to think it can put a stranglehold on the strangeness by bringing in a big Wall Street Fixer - Eva Thorne - to put a stop to the fiscal flooding. While Eva is getting the Presidential tour, Sheriff Jack Carter is nervously allowing his daughter, Zoe, to work her first day at Café Diem. Being the over-protective parent he is, Jack is nervous something will happen to his only child, but Zoe assures him that she will be fine.
