    'Line Rider: Unbound 2' (Wii/DS) – Review

I'm amazed by anyone who can take Line Rider and make those absolutely fantastically created tracks, which feature things that look like actual portraits rather than a bunch of lines haphazardly thrown together. I'm impressed by their creativity, but also by the sheer fact they can create anything with the controls of this game. The latest Line Rider console release – Line Rider: Unbound 2 – is an episode in frustration, which shows that if at first you don't succeed, try and try again. If that doesn't work, try and try again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again…

    'No More Heroes' Sequel Incoming

No More Heroes was a stylish and quirky game, but one that I consider the best to this date on the still relatively young Wii. Surely a game that fits in a small niche wouldn't do well enough to warrant a sequel, but it looks like that's what No More Heroes has gone ahead and done. A brief trailer was shown at the Tokyo Game Show and already I can't wait for it to be released.

Nintendo Press Conference Looks Pretty Good

Nintendo held a fall press conference yesterday announcing some interesting things. First up there's the DSi, a new model of the Nintendo DS, this time featuring such things as bigger screens, a camera, the ability to play music back, and more. On the downside, however, the GBA slot has been done away with, which means future Guitar Hero games for the DS won't work with this system. Along the game front, the biggest announcement came by the way of a new Punch Out for the Wii! Who isn't excited about lacing up their gloves again as Little Mac?

Possibly The Best Videogame Ad Of All-Time - 'Wario Land: Shake It'

There are too many games coming out this week, so Wario Land: Shake It will sadly fall to the wayside at least for me this week. However, I can't help but think the following ad for the game is one of the cleverest ones I've ever seen. I think you might have to have IE or at least Flash to see it, but I believe it is worth it.

Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution 2 (Wii) – Interview with Nobby Matsuo (Producer)

When it comes to the Naruto franchise, I'm a stickler for developers doing something new with the series, instead of relying on the same storyline and characters that fans have seen used hundreds of times by now. TOMY is one such developer, who doesn't just take what they are given and pump a game out for bucks. Instead, TOMY has gone out of their way to not only include a story never seen before, but have created a handful of new characters to round out the Naruto universe, and delve into a part of the mythology rarely touched upon – the Anbu. In a recent chat, we talked with Nobby Matsuo (Producer) about the upcoming fighter for the Wii.

'Super Mario RPG' Now On VC - Get Now

Unless you bought the game when it originally came out for the SNES, chances are good you won't be able to find an original copy of Super Mario RPG unless it's on ebay for a good chunk of change. Today you can celebrate, however, as Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars is now available on the Wii's Virtual Channel.

'Dead Rising' For The Wii Looks Horrible

Dead Rising is one of my favorite games for the Xbox 360. If I could only get my fix of the game from the Wii version, however, I think this game would plummet down my list of favorite games of all-time. Basically, take away all the pretty graphics, tons and tons of zombies, and in exchange throw in some motion controls. Tada! Dead Rising for the Wii in a nutshell. Don't believe me - watch the gameplay footage for yourself.

    E3 2008 Preview: 'MADWORLD' (Wii)

What’s black and white and red all over? I would’ve thought the answer was a “newspaper” before E3, but after seeing SEGA’s MADWORLD demoed I have a new definitive answer. MADWORLD is a crazy, sick game that has players taking on the role of Jack, a man who finds himself in a Running Man like game of death, where the only way to win is to literally kill off the competition. Stylish and violent, MADWORLD looks to show the world that the Nintendo Wii is far from being a kiddy system.

Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution 2 (Wii) – Interview with Glenn Stotz

You had me at Asuma…or so I would've said had Jerry Maguire been running through my head at the time. Finally, a chance to play as my favorite beard sporting Naruto character, who I've always admired with a sense of awe whenever he appeared in the anime. Though adding Asuma to the roster was already a boon in my book, the inclusion of a brand-new story, new characters, and several new modes all helped solidify Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution 2 as the Naruto game to keep my eye on more than any other. I got to take part in a conference call for the game, chatting with Glenn Stotz – Product Specialist at Tomy – about what to expect when the game is released.
