Djimon Hounsou is a very talented actor, so I'm impressed that BET was able to snag him to voice the lead - the King of Wakanda himself T'Challa (aka Black Panther). Since the animated show will be airing on BET, it should have a more adult sensibility, which I'm thinking will be along the lines of the classic Batman: The Animated Series. If the show does well, perhaps we'll even see Hounsou playing Black Panther in a live-action film, which he was rumored to be in the running for before.
