Following a great, but not perfect first season, Avatar steps up to the plate again in an attempt to one up itself. I'm glad to say that the stories and character development in season two surpass those of the original season. "Book 2: Earth" is more surefooted than the first season and its characters grow in ways I didn't see at first.

Every now and then, I get a hankering for something new, be it picking up a new comic book series or jumping on board a new TV series. So it comes as no surprise to myself that I went out and bought the complete series of the acclaimed Nickelodeon animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender without having seen a single episode. I went purely on reputation and after consuming season one, I must admit I am not disappointed in the least.
