'Warhammer Online' Bans 400 Gold Farmers
Wed, 09/24/2008 - 09:15 — Jason Van Horn
Waagh indeed! You should've read our review by now, and if you have then you know I'm really enjoying Warhammer Online. I'm especially liking the game even more this morning, after hearing the news about how the game has banned 400 gold farmers. I've only seen about four or five ads come across the chat since starting the game, so it's nice to see the ban hammer being wielded quickly and justly.

'Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning' (PC) – Review
Mon, 09/22/2008 - 09:45 — Jason Van Horn
The MMORPG market is a crowded one and World of Warcraft is undoubtedly the king of the crop if going on sheer numbers and pop culture recognition. It's also not a great time to be releasing a new MMORPG, considering Age of Conan was just released not long ago, World of Warcraft will have its second expansion releasing shortly, and even Lord of the Rings Online is set to release their first expansion before the year is done. Despite the crowded market and stiff competition to come, Warhammer Online releases with a bang, and shoves its way through the throng of gamers in order to stand tall as one of the premier games worthy of your time.
What Will You Be In 'Warhammer Online'?

Move over Age of Conan, because there's a new MMO I'll be giving my subscription money over to in the upcoming weeks - Warhammer Online. However, what role to play when the game comes out? I'm a dwarf in Lord of the Rings Online, so should I stick with that role? But what about the lion wielding high elves or the thong flaunting dark elves? If you need help figuring out what role to play, give Prima Guide's Warhammer Online personality quiz a try to find out who you are most suited to be in the game.
New 'Warhammer Online' Trailer
Fri, 08/22/2008 - 09:50 — Jason Van Horn
Though the trailer doesn't quite reach the level of technical prowess as the recently released Lich King trailer, the opening cinematic trailer for Warhammer Online is certainly more action packed and actually show a lot of the character classes off and how they'll play...without ever showing actual gameplay footage.
I'm so torn now on what character to play as when the game releases. I was going to roll a White Lion, but after seeing this trailer, the Marauder, Sorceress, and Bright Wizard all look great.
'Warhammer Online' Fails To Acknowledge All Its Devs

If you work on anything you deserve to have your name in the credits - whether it be a television series, movie, or videogame. I love a good MMORPG and Warhammer Online is the next one that might rip me away from Lord of the Rings Online. The news that the game won't credit everyone who worked on the game is total crap. Instead, only people working on the game at the time of completion will be credited for the work.
'Warhammer Online' Losing Features

I'm having dreams of Age of Conan again, where after stuff was announced, suddenly the things were ripped away and merged with other groups. Though the loss of a few capitals isn't a HUGE loss to me - given I'm not generally a big PvP or RvR fan - I was really excited about things I'd heard and seen about the game. I think the loss of a few classes, however, is a bigger loss. I wasn't necessarily going to play as them, but still, it's never a good thing to lose some character classes.
