Muramasa: The Demon Blade

    Muramasa: The Demon Blade

'Muramasa: The Demon Blade' (Wii) – Review

Muramasa: The Demon Blade has been one of my most highly anticipated games for some time now. As someone who loved Odin's Sphere art style, but wasn't a huge fan of the actual gameplay, I was very interested to see what the company's follow-up game would be like. As it turns out, their follow-up is a side-scrolling action adventure game set in feudal era Japan, and it has one of the best and most stunning art styles I've ever seen in a videogame before.

'Muramasa: The Demon Blade' Hands-On Demo

So pretty...so pretty. Muramasa: The Demon Blade is easily one of the best looking games in my opinion coming out this year. I'm a sucker for beautiful hand-drawn 2D graphics. On a recent X-Play, a hands-on demo of Muramasa: The Demon Blade was shown to Adam and Morgan, and it looks great. Watch the video for yourself and see what you think.

'Muramasa: The Demon Blade' Coming To The States With New Publisher

It seems like only yesterday when we were reporting that Muramasa: The Demon Blade was no longer coming to America because the North American publisher had back out. Oh wait...it was just yesterday. It didn't take long for the game to get a new publisher, as Ignition will now be handling publishing duties.

Fate Of 'Muramasa: The Demon Blade' Uncertain

Muramasa: The Demon Blade is one of the best looking games coming out for the Wii. Done with the same style as the gorgeous Odin Sphere, it looks like a game not to be mixed...unless you're American that is. In a surprisingly (and frankly sad) bit of news, publisher XSEED is no longer bringing the game to the States. Is the game now going to never grace our shores? Will someone else step in? Please, please, please someone publish this game.

New 'Muramasa: The Demon Blade' Trailer - So Pretty

Brought to you by the same people behind Odin Sphere - a great looking game in its own right - Muramasa: The Demon Blade is an upcoming action game using 2D sprites and it looks beautiful. Check the trailer out and be amazed at the fluidity of lovely graphics.
