Tue, 05/25/2010 - 08:59 — Jason Van Horn
A lot of people participated in the Halo: Reach multiplayer beta - which by the way I thought was pretty great - and were left not only wanting more, but the actual single-player game too. Halo fans won't have to wait toooooo long, as it was just announced that the game will be released on September 14th.
$149.99 'Halo: Reach' Legendary Edition Revealed
Fri, 04/23/2010 - 09:11 — Jason Van Horn
Must...resist...temptation. I should've learned my lesson from the last Legendary Edition of Halo I bought, as I still got the Master Chief helmet shoved in a box underneath a pile of other boxes. With that said, I'm still tempted to buy the new one. I know...I have no will power. So what's all in the $149.99 Legendary Edition of the game?
"Along with everything that's included in the limited edition (special "ONI black box" case, an artifact bag that houses lore-filled journals and documents, and an exclusive multiplayer armor set for Covenant Elites), the most expensive version of Halo: Reach will contain a 10-inch sculpture of the game's Noble Team (crafted by McFarlane Toys), as well as an exclusive, in-game armor effect for Spartans, all wrapped up in fancy, UNSC-themed packaging."
You can see a pic of the set at the link provided.
'Halo: Reach' Video Released

The first game footage of Halo: Reach has been released and it looks mighty fine and exciting. It's only of the multiplayer beta, but it looks great nonetheless. There are some surprising additions in this game based on the video: some cool assassination kills, a dodge roll, flying jetpacks, and what looks to be a massive invasion mode. Definitely check the video out!

For those who bought Halo 3: ODST, you received word that you'd be one of the lucky ones to get in on the Halo: Reach multiplayer beta whenever it goes live. At Microsoft's X10 event yesterday, it was revealed that the game's beta will start on May 3rd. So, if you want to play in the beta, you better make sure you have a copy of ODST to pop into your system.
'Halo: Reach' To Have New Multiplayer Mode
Fri, 01/08/2010 - 09:43 — Jason Van Horn
The gameplay has been tweaked, but the Halo multiplayer modes and gameplay remained somewhat the same until Halo 3: ODST released with its new Firefight mode. When referencing an interoffice contest at Bungie, the company revealed, "Some number of players will square off against some number of other players in what will undoubtedly be a rousing and highly competitive game of something we're not talking about yet! Points awarded for doing all kinds of untold stuff!"
What could this new multiplayer mode be? Maybe players will play as The Flood in a Left 4 Dead type of Versus mode.

'Halo: Reach' Will Be Last Game In Series For Bungie
Tue, 07/28/2009 - 10:50 — Jason Van Horn
Halo: Reach was first teased at this year's E3 and now comes word that it will be the last Halo game that Bungie will be making.
"In terms of a platform for Halo games made by Bungie, yes. I can't answer that question for Microsoft though," said senior designer Lars Bakken. "Whether they have something in the works or not, I don't know if they're actually ready to talk about it yet, but in terms of Bungie-produced Halo games, Halo ODST and then Reach is probably all you're going to get."
You know it won't be the last Halo game Microsoft handles - they would never get rid of their cash cow.
